I’m drawn to the moments where old ways and new ones sit side by side in a single frame, be that of contemporary works, narrative realism, or looking through the lens of the mid-west.
I’m also a mom of 3 kids - my toughest and funniest art critics. (just ask them about my work sometime, actually don’t lol)
